About Me
To couples and individuals,
Hello! Given you found me here I love that you are interested in EFT. EFT has been a passion of mine since I read Sue Johnson's book Hold Me Tight. I appreciate how EFT helps us as therapists make sense of our clients distress through the attachment lens. It helped me make sense of my own relationship and my moves in my dance with my spouse. I love helping couples better understand their own inner world and then make sense of their moves in their relationship dance. Watching couples move from distance and disconnection to eventually closeness and an expanded understanding of themselves and their partner is a gift an an honor.
In 2020 I also completed EFIT level 1, 2, and an advanced EFIT trauma training. I have loved now getting to use this beautiful model with individuals as well as couples.
To supervisees, I love that you are interested and excited about this model. Part of my attraction to EFT is it being a growth model. I have been in EFT supervision about two times a month since my externship. I continue to engage in EFT supervision to gain more knowledge and skills especially now in EFIT. I am also part of a supervision group for supervisors. I would love to connect with you if you are interested in individual or group supervision.
