About Me
As a licensed Psychologist with over 20 years of experience, I offer in-person and online therapy for couples who are interested in improving their relationship.
My specialty is helping couples deal with the pain of infertility, pregnancy loss, or termination of a pregnancy. Wanting to have a child and not being able to differently affects men and women, leading to conflict and loss of intimacy. I use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy to help couples manage the intense emotions associated with trying to have a family. My goal is to help couples strengthen their relationship in order to overcome reproductive trauma together.
Having grown up in former Yugoslavia, I am fluent in Serbian, Croatian, Montenegrin, and Bosnian. I provide individual and couples therapy to Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin immigrants in addition to serving an English-speaking clientele. I am sensitive to differences between partners of different cultural and religious backgrounds and to how these differences influence their relationships. I am dedicated to helping couples deal with their cultural differences together to achieve a better understanding of each other and better relationship.
